Last night's show

The show last night went pretty well... it was the most people we've ever had in the studio, but it was a great show and we're starting to get a 'groove' going. It was cool to meet Eric Heywood; he's a fantastic musician and really fit well into the ensemble. Perry did a great job filling in on the set, too- he might be coming back for more shows.

Also, the show was on the main page for Ustream.tv for a while- so there were a lot more people watching!

The real excitement last night started about an hour and a half before showtime, during the rehearsal, when we lost power to half of the studio! Unable to locate the actual circuit breaker for the studio, we eventually ran power cords from the house out to the studio. We also had to move a few power plugs around, turn off the non-essential electronics, borrow a few extension cords... but eventually we got everything going in time for the broadcast.

It took the electrician and myself about thirty minutes to find the subpanel for the studio this morning... hidden behind a framed album on the wall. Wish we would have looked there last night!
